Job Description
Feeser’s, Inc., a family-owned foodservice distributor, is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic for a mid-level position. This role involves performing complex maintenance and repair tasks on diesel engines, vehicles, and trailers, with minimal supervision, while upholding safety and regulatory standards. The position is overnight, with a 10:00pm to 6:00am schedule.
Requirements
- Diagnosing and repairing engine components, fuel systems, and drivetrain issues on diesel vehicles and trailers.
- Performing thorough inspections of trailers and identifying mechanical, structural, and electrical issues.
- Repair or replace defective parts, such as axles and liftgates.
- Performing preventative maintenance on refrigeration units and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues on vehicles and trailers.
