Guitar Tech

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation is seeking a skilled Guitar Tech to maintain and repair Fender instruments and equipment. This role involves collaborating with product development, managing production schedules, and communicating with customers. The tech will maintain and customize guitars, and visit artists at events, providing support and creating a comfortable environment.

Requirements

• Collaborate with Product Development during early stages of product design.
• Prepare, release and confirm production schedules.
• Communicate with Marketing and Product team members regarding design decisions.
• Maintain, repair, and custom equipment for all artists visiting Backstage.
• Visit artists at recordings, rehearsals, and live performances.
• Maintain the artists' equipment and create a comfortable environment for them.
• Make arrangements for guitars, amps, parts, etc. requested by artists.
• High school degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in building, maintaining, repairing, and customizing guitars.
