Turbine Mechanic

The Turbine Mechanic will safely accomplish the installation, maintenance and repair of heavy rotating machinery used in power generation applications.

Requirements

• Read blueprints, schematic drawings and technical documentation
• Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans
• Dismantle and assemble machinery and equipment
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs
• Align machinery and equipment using various tools
• Perform machining and welding operations
• Perform material and machine inspections
• Determine equipment specifications and prepare parts lists
• Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, equipment and supplies
