Job Description
Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous humanoid robots. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, testing, and implementation of the head for their robots. The company focuses on engineering robots with human-level intelligence and is headquartered in San Jose, CA.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar field.
- Expert in using 3D CAD software to design parts.
- Experience designing and building prototypes.
- Experience with simulation and analysis methodology (FEA, MATLAB, etc.).
- Ability to write and maintain clean documentation for design processes.
- Experience with electromechanical integration (sensors, motors, etc.).
- US base salary range between $120,000 - $180,000 annually.
- Total compensation package may include additional components/benefits.
