Job Description
The accounting lead supports in the coordination of the company's general accounting activities to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial information.
Requirements
- Perform month and year-end closing activities and reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances
- Consolidate financial statements of the company and its subsidiaries
- Prepare Segmented Income Statements of the company and its subsidiaries
- Generate and distribute financial reports to management on monthly and timely basis
- Review financial reports to identify and explain variances
- Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audit
- Adhere to accounting standard accounting principles and company procedures
- Follow documentation policy to maintain accounting files
- Perform various special projects and analysis as requested by management
