Grounds Maintenance Worker

This Grounds Maintenance Worker position involves assisting in the construction of a landscape and related structures. Responsibilities include spreading soil, laying sod, planting flowers and shrubs, mowing, fertilizing, weeding, pruning, and maintaining grounds and infrastructure. Physical stamina and the ability to work independently in various weather conditions are essential.

Requirements

• Able to work long hours in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift 80 pounds repeatedly
• Able to work independently and part of a team
• Experience working with and maintaining equipment is an asset
• Previous experience working with lawn care is an asset
• Not afraid of animals
• Able to travel by boat without getting sick
• Punctual and attention to detail
• Good customer service when dealing with guests questions
