Senior Backend Software Engineer (GOlang)

Fingerprint empowers developers to stop online fraud at the source by building developer-focused fraud detection solutions. The company is a remote, 100% distributed team with a strong focus on open-source projects like FingerprintJS and utilizes a collaborative, agile development process. They are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to focus on developing, maintaining, and scaling backend systems for their fraud detection solutions.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development with exposure to data science.
• Extensive experience using large-scale databases like DynamoDB, ScyllaDB, Cassandra, or HBase.
• Experience with AWS container technologies like ECS/Fargate.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable public APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like DynamoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency with general software engineering tools: Git, IDEs, shell scripting, CI/CD.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
• Proficient in English for clear communication.
