The Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician-FINCA is a permanent position located in Regina, SK, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for tear down, inspection, and rebuilding of major components on Caterpillar equipment.
Requirements
- Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
- Heavy Duty Technician, Truck and Transport, Ag and Experienced automotive technicians will be considered
- Apprentice mechanics will also be considered for this posting
- Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Understanding of the Caterpillar product line and machines as asset
- Engine and/or component rebuilding experience or equivalent mechanical experience
- Transmission or hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
- Engine dynamometer testing would be considered an asset
- Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset
- General computer proficiency with experience with MS word, PowerPoint etc.
