The Condition Monitoring Analyst, Mining (Onsite) will play a vital role in the proactive execution of Condition Monitoring (CM) alerts generated from the Caterpillar / Finning condition monitoring program. The Analyst will engage with site teams and remote CM support to drive timely, informed decisions that enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Review and interpret condition monitoring recommendations created by remote CM teams
- Accountable for process on actioning CM recommendations while providing updates and feedback
- Review supporting evidence with site-based data points to determine severity of recommendations
- Track accepted, scheduled and completed recommendations for program success KPIs
- Escalate as required to appropriate site maintenance teams
- Maintain backlog of deficiencies for assets to be addressed at planned outages
- Work with planning team to prioritize and schedule reported issues
- Periodically review recommendations and needs for escalation
- Review data prior to PM to identify opportunities in proactive maintenance
- Act as point of contact for CM data between Caterpillar, Customer and other stakeholders
- Support Finning in ability to drive best achievable uptime for fleet
- Support reliability engineers in addressing top downtime drivers and bad actors
- Manage fleet reports to convey areas of improvement and value provided
- Actively work with Caterpillar / Finning CM team to align CM platform analytics with site requirements
- Participate in program and process improvements with site maintenance teams
- Identify areas of concern requiring increased visibility and new ways to capture data for CM program
