Job Description
The SBA Market Specialist assists SBA Business Development Officers in managing a loan production portfolio by meeting with clients, collecting financial information, and providing direct client service. The role involves expanding or deepening client relationships, preparing initial term sheets and proposals, and coordinating closings for new loans and modifications.
Requirements
- Assists BDOs in managing existing relationships
- Collects and tracks all required financial information for the Credit Department
- Provides direct service to SBA Portfolio clients
- Builds client relationships by identifying client needs
- Assists in preparing initial term sheets and proposals
- Coordinates loan and modification closings
- Follows proper policies and procedures to authenticate clients
- Works closely with the BDO to ensure risk management of each client relationship
