The Manager of Asset Performance & Analytics oversees the asset monitoring and analytical functions for substation and transmission line assets, ensuring the delivery of actionable insights that guide capital investment, optimize asset lifecycles, and enhance system reliability.
Requirements
- Oversee asset performance monitoring systems for substation and transmission line assets
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the online monitoring program
- Evaluate equipment monitoring technologies
- Perform data analytics on asset health and condition
- Conduct failure analysis and event response
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools
- Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and system integrity
- Leverage EPRI research, supplemental projects, and industry best practices
- Provide asset health risk projections and analytics
- Collaborate with internal teams to align monitoring and analytics efforts with organizational goals
- Support the evaluation and integration of advanced monitoring technologies, automation and analytics tools
- Serve as the business owner for asset performance and analytics systems
- Inspire a culture of learning, inclusivity, and open communication
- Provide clear direction, continuous coaching, and meaningful feedback to elevate individual and team performance
- Hire and train additional staff as appropriate
- Monitor work volumes, ensuring deadlines are met
- Participate in industry engagement events
