Senior Advisor NJ Regulatory Affairs

FirstEnergy is seeking a Senior Advisor for NJ Regulatory Affairs to develop and manage positive business relationships with the Board of Public Utilities (BPU) and represent the company at industry meetings and conferences.

Requirements

• Develop, manage, and maintain positive business relationships with the Board of Public Utilities (BPU)
• Serve as a key liaison for FirstEnergy to the BPU
• Communicate with external stakeholders on a wide range of issues
• Monitor, analyze, and report on all regulatory matters at the BPU and make recommendations to management
• Develop and execute regulatory strategies that advance the goals of the company
• Supervise staff that address escalated complaints to the BPU
• Understand and stay current on all applicable laws, pending legislation, administrative rules and policies that impact FirstEnergy
• Represent FirstEnergy at industry meetings, conferences, and events
