Revenue Accountant

Five9 is seeking a Revenue Accountant based in Manila, Philippines to join their growing team. The role involves assisting with sales contract review, revenue recognition, journal entries, audits, and managing customer accounts. Requirements

• Assist on sales Contract review and assessment.
• Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policy and SaaS revenue recognition accounting standards.
• Prepare deal/contract summaries for material completed transactions.
• Assist with financial audits including reconciliations, support documentation, and communication with external auditors.
• Assist with month end and quarter end close activities.
• Work closely with Sales Operations, Customer Support, and Collection team as needed.
• Assist with managing and resolving Billing and Revenue Customer issues.
• Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements, including SOX related process improvements and access controls.
• Assist in various projects as needed.
• Stay current on new revenue accounting rules and help develop appropriate policies and processes.
