Job Description
Fivetran is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to collaborate on developing and maintaining test automation tools and frameworks. The role involves contributing to enhancements to the Fivetran test automation framework, using Docker, Terraform, Java, Pytest, and Python. This position provides a foundation for improving product quality and building end-to-end tests, potentially focusing on new UI automation and test development strategies. Fivetran aims to simplify data access, and this role is central to enhancing their technology and customer experience.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in the software industry with passion for quality and automation
- Strong knowledge and experience with OOPs concepts, preferably in Python and Java
- Deep understanding of Database internals
- Expertise on developing different levels of automated tests, such as unit tests, functional tests, integration tests, system tests
- Experience in configuring and monitoring test automation jobs as part of CI/CD pipeline
- Experience in working on non UI automation frameworks
