Job Description
The Histotechnologist/Histotechnician I performs technical procedures in the IHC/Histology laboratory, including specimen processing, embedding, FFPE sectioning, frozen sectioning, and staining.
Requirements
- Histotechnologist (HTL, ASCP) or Histotechnician (HT, ASCP) Certification
- 0 to 3 years of experience in animal and human research using histology skills
- Advanced knowledge of human anatomy, cellular structure and function
- Advanced laboratory technical skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Demonstrated problem solving/troubleshooting skills
