Job Description
Flexport is seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to lead a team of 200+ associates and 4+ salaried managers in a fulfillment center. This role focuses on managing operations, ensuring team productivity and engagement, maintaining safety programs, and contributing to logistics improvements. It offers a unique opportunity to invest in others and make a lasting impact on the logistics industry.
Requirements
- Lead, coach, manage, and develop a team of 200+ associates and 4+ salaried managers.
- Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain safety programs.
- Create, manage, and support recognition programs.
- Establish and enforce procedures for building security and product loss prevention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Act as the escalation point for risk mitigation.
- Analyze defect rates.
- Contribute to the development of SOPs.
- Work closely with Growth and Engineering teams.
- Own CPU and cost metrics.
