Senior Counsel, Privacy & AI

Flock Safety is seeking a Senior Counsel, Privacy & AI to join their legal team. The role will be responsible for maintaining expertise on current and new data protection and AI laws, providing strategic counsel to stakeholders, and developing a privacy and AI compliance program.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school and an active bar license in good standing with one or more U.S. state bars.
• 4-6 years experience, preferably at a combination of law firm and in-house roles, advising on data privacy, AI, and cybersecurity matters.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. and global data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance laws and frameworks.
• Experience with AI governance and emerging AI regulations.
• Proven track record of building trust and aligning incentives with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong legal judgment and excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a constantly changing environment.
• Excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a sense of humor.
