Job Description
FloQast is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Core AI team, architecting and scaling AI products that power their accounting automation platform. This role requires deep expertise in production AI systems, a passion for solving accounting challenges, and the ability to shape the technical direction of AI across the company. The ideal candidate will develop both AI applications and infrastructure, focusing on robust monitoring and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 4+ years focused on building backend for production applications
- Mastery of Python, Familiarity with AI application frameworks
- Expertise in designing products integrating with cloud-native technologies
- Strong desire to develop LLM APIs, RAG, and conversational AI
- Proven ability to lead tech product initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
