Job Description
The Automotive Service Technician functions as a moderate skill-level automotive technician who is able to perform diagnoses and repairs in all areas with proficiency and minimal supervision.
Requirements
- 5 years of related progressive technical experience required
- Automotive technician certification(s) from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or similar accredited credentialing body preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Moderate knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair
- Proficient mechanical repair skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues
- Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software
