Job Description
Senior Civil/Structural Engineer position available at FLSmidth in Salt Lake City. Responsible for customer interface, execution and management of complex projects regarding engineering deliverables. Requires 10 years of relevant experience in civil and structural designs, Bachelors of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a structural emphasis, and successful completion of PE.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil and structural designs
- Bachelors of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a structural emphasis
- Successful completion of PE
- Knowledge of applicable codes for design of equipment components (ASCE 7, AISC, API)
- Knowledge of standard steel fabrication and other manufacturing processes
- Proficient with engineering design tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc)
- Familiarity with engineering structural analysis tools (STAAD, FEA-ANSYS, etc)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Good verbal and written communication skills
