We are seeking a Finance Lead - Treasury Financial Reporting to oversee financial instruments under US GAAP and IFRS, including hedge accounting. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of progressive experience in a multi-national environment or a Big-4 accounting firm, with IFRS and US GAAP experience.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with 7 – 10+ years of progressive experience, preferably gained in a multi-national / plc environment or a Big-4 accounting firm
- IFRS and US GAAP experience
- Confident and assertive, capable of working effectively with high-level collaborators
- Demonstrated history crafting robust internal control structures (SOX or similar in highly regulated field) and enhancing operational processes.
- Proven team leadership
- Strong financial accounting experience with a solid understanding of current/relevant technical accounting issues
- Strong Financial Systems experience – Oracle Financials would be an advantage
- Excellent MS Office skills – particularly Excel
- Effective in all types of communication; adjusts communication style to fit the audience with exceptional influencing, negotiating, organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skill.
- Understanding the different sectors within the Flutter group and the business reasoning for financial and tax restructuring endeavors, alongside the comprehensive commercial operational structure.
- Strong process, technical and analytical skills, constantly explores and analyses future scenarios and possibilities to help Flutter respond to change and shape the future.
