We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to manage and guide the development of our Sportsbook back-end platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile product management, combined with technical expertise in sportsbook systems and experience in the gambling or gaming industry.
Requirements
- Create comprehensive product specifications by writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Lead the product discovery process for assigned initiatives
- Assist the product manager in organizing, prioritizing, and keeping the product development backlog current and well-maintained
- Contribute to the product vision and advocate for this vision with both stakeholders and engineering teams
- Provide support to development teams by answering questions, clarifying requirements, and removing any blockers to facilitate timely product delivery
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure successful product outcomes
- Communicate updates on product releases and the status of ongoing development efforts to the broader organization
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) for new product releases or coordinate testing efforts
- Maintain product documentation and internal wikis
- Conduct demos and training sessions for stakeholders on new product concepts and releases
- Continuously assess the live product, identifying areas for improvement and addressing any gaps between the expected and actual user experience
