We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the data engineering and integration needs of Flutter's global HR Transformation programme. In this role, you will contribute to designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines and analytics solutions using AWS, Databricks, and Workato platforms.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering roles with exposure to AWS cloud services and modern data stack technologies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift) and Databricks for data processing, transformation, and analytics.
- Knowledge of Workato or similar tools for integration and automation between systems such as Workday.
- Strong skills in SQL and Python (or Scala) for developing scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Understanding of HR systems and data structures (Workday experience preferred).
- Working knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security principles.
- Problem-solving skills with ability to debug and optimize data processes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile environments is preferred.
