Requirements

• Observe and adhere to all departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
• Efficiently record patient care data.
• Consult with physicians regarding respiratory care procedures.
• Monitor and maintain patient equipment, including oxygen devices.
• Assist in patient ventilator system monitoring and care.
• Administer and assess respiratory therapy procedures.
• Maintain competency in arterial line insertion and advanced ventilation.
