7th–8th Grade SPED ELA Teacher (Push-In/Pull-Out Model)

Requirements

• Create a positive, achievement-oriented, and structured learning environment
• Motivate students to reach high academic and behavioral standards
• Design and implement unit and lesson plans in collaboration with grade/subject teams
• Provide differentiated instruction to ensure that all students demonstrate 1.5 years of growth as measured by NWEA’s MAP assessment
• Serve as the “owner” of all special education-related services, including writing and implementing rigorous, standards-driven Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with instructional coaches, grade-level chairs, and school teams to continuously improve instructional practices, culture-building efforts, and leadership skills
