Bilingual Teacher Full Time

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and culturally responsive Bilingual Teacher to support Kindergarten and 1st Grade students at a growing public charter school in Plainfield, NJ. In this role, you’ll help young learners develop foundational academic, linguistic, and social skills in both English and Spanish — empowering them to thrive in a dual-language learning environment.

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate
• Bilingual/Bicultural Endorsement issued by the New Jersey Department of Education
• Fluency in English and Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Prior teaching experience in early elementary or bilingual education preferred
• Strong understanding of child development, early literacy strategies, and culturally responsive teaching
• Effective classroom management and excellent communication skills
