Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a School Psychologist (3 years preferred)
- Required experience working in an urban school environment
- Demonstrated success supporting teachers, students, and families to elevate student achievement
- Strong understanding of effective pedagogy and intervention strategies that drive measurable results in urban classrooms
- Ed.S., M.A., or Ph.D. in School Psychology
- Holds or is eligible for State of Delaware Standard Certification as a School Psychologist
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential through NASP
- Strong knowledge of the roles and functions of a School Psychologist in educational settings
- Experience with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and understanding of federal and state education regulations
- Proven experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), participating in manifestation determinations, and collaborative problem-solving
