SPED Teacher

Empower Every Learner. Transform Every Day. Focused Staffing Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students with Autism and Severe Intellectual Disabilities at one of our partner schools in Wilmington, Delaware.

Requirements

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and units aligned with state curriculum standards and IEP goals.
• Provide instruction in academic, behavioral, social, and functional skills tailored to each student's strengths.
• Incorporate technology and differentiated strategies to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and self-regulation.
• Collaborate with therapists, paraprofessionals, and families to support consistent progress across all settings.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, behavioral data, and IEP documentation.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to celebrate progress and share strategies for continued development.
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives that promote student success.
