Senior Accountant, Global Accounting & Accounts Payable Lead

Focused Energy is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage and improve their global accounting operations, primarily focusing on HGB and IFRS. The role involves coordination of accounting processes globally, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and consistency, as well as overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) processes for all regions. The position requires strong leadership skills and a proactive approach.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or certified accountant qualification).
• 7+ years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in an international and fast-moving environment.
• Deep expertise in HGB and IFRS.
• Strong track record in closing and audit processes.
• Passion for creating clarity, transparency, and well-structured processes.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and improve accounting workflows.
• Skilled with ERP/accounting systems (DATEV, NetSuite, or similar).
