Convention Services | Event Manager

Fontainebleau Miami Beach is seeking an Event Manager to manage group/convention/programs from pre-arrival through to post-departure. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and executing the terms of the contract, maximizing revenues, and establishing close working relationships with clients and Fontainebleau team members.

Requirements

• Strong culinary and beverage knowledge and interest
• Knowledge and understanding of the Hotel guest room inventory
• Proven ability to plan and organize events effectively, with an acute sense of detail
• Assertive, professional and positive approach with a proven ability to develop and lead in a team environment
• Ability to develop strong professional relationships with vendors, guests and employees
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff
