Ford is seeking a CI Buyer - Pumps to lead commercial negotiations and manage critical supplier relationships. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of transportation by ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality products and services. The position focuses on optimizing costs, driving best cost at J1, and fostering long-term relationships with suppliers.
Requirements
- Establish/strengthen global supplier relationships.
- Lead process to source on time and satisfy program targets.
- Lead design competitions and market tests.
- Manage Supplier emerging significant issues.
- Co-lead and develop together with PD commodity strategies.
- Lead for commodity knowledge and market intelligence.
- Lead TVM activities including objective setting and delivery.
- Lead Program sourcing activities (Sourcing Contract).
