Software Engineer

Ford Credit Europe is seeking a full-stack software engineer to join their IT Software Engineer community and contribute to the development of global applications supporting financing for dealers and customers. The role involves developing software using lean agile practices, focusing on clean code, meeting quality and security standards, and handling technical debt. The ideal candidate will work on all phases of the software creation lifecycle.

Requirements

• Write high-quality code that satisfies customer needs and strives for simplicity, clarity, and testability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
• Investigate and propose business and technical solutions to development and design problems.
• Promote and investigate architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews or use collaborative programming techniques to promote high quality business outcomes.
• Improve performance of existing software by diagnosing and resolving critical issues.
• Follow agile development processes.
