Welder

Forgen is seeking a Welder to assemble metal components and repair damage using heavy machinery. The role involves welding, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality standards are met. They are dedicated to building a better future and deliver innovative solutions for complex civil and geotechnical projects.

Requirements

• Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Prepare required documentation including work orders and timecards.
• Sourcing the materials to be used in the project.
• Measuring and cutting materials to specifications.
• Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together.
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
• Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
• Follow manufacturer and company service guidelines and procedures to ensure safe quality work and to preserve and document component failure information for accurate failure analysis.
• Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety procedures, laws, policies, and rules.
• Operating heavy power-driven equipment.
• Ability to obtain forklift and boom lift certification.
