Senior Electrical Engineer, Test Infrastructure

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Test Infrastructure team, designing and delivering test equipment for our battery infrastructure.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in electrical design and/or test equipment development (battery or energy systems experience is a plus).
• Proficiency with eCAD tools for PCB, control panel and harness designs.
• Proficiency with mCAD tools for fixture designs.
• Familiarity with programming PLC or microcontroller-based control systems, including writing the core control code.
• Hands-on experience with sensors, power electronics, data acquisition, and control systems.
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance considerations in high-power and/or chemical environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance speed, rigor, and safety.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
