Job Description
Formation Bio is a tech and AI-driven pharma company focused on accelerating drug development. They are seeking a VP of Quality Assurance to establish and manage their quality assurance program, ensuring compliance with GMP and GLP standards. The role involves leading and mentoring a team, managing risk, and ensuring efficient system implementation. This is a strategic leadership position reporting to the Chief Development Officer.
Requirements
- BS/BA in biology or related Life Sciences discipline
- Minimum of 20 years of experience with increasing responsibilities, including leadership of a Quality function
- Strong working knowledge of global regulatory requirements
- Expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Extensive knowledge of quality risk assessment and management methodologies
- Proven experience in establishing and managing a quality organization
- Track record of success in biotech start-ups
