Senior Software Development Engineer

Fortinet is seeking a dynamic Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the success of their rapidly growing cybersecurity business. The role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and analyzing scalable code, introducing new technologies, and improving system efficiency. This position is on the Core team, working with a global research team.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience as a Backend and Data Engineer on a production environment
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL
• Experience with Redis and ElasticSearch
• Experience with production real-time & high scalable production systems
• Experience with backend services with known frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Celery, or similar)
• Experience with cloud web services (AWS)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
