Systems Engineer, Central Government - France

Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the sales organization, specifically with pre-sales and sales calls. The role involves technical support for pre-sales qualification, assisting with customer communications, and providing post-sales training. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, knowledge of networking applications, and experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.

Requirements

• 5 – 8 years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
• 5 - 8 years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
• Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
• Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus.
• Strong understanding in the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
• Strong presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies
