Systems Engineer – Public Sector KRITIS

Fortinet Germany is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Sales organization in the KRITIS sector, specifically within the healthcare and energy industries. The role involves designing and presenting technical solutions, understanding Fortinet’s solutions, and managing technical sales engagements. This position requires strong security knowledge and a commitment to responsible business practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with customers in critical infrastructure sectors (Healthcare, Energy, Transportation)
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance (like IT-SiG, B3S, ISO27001)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pre-sales support with proven success
• Expert level knowledge in networking (LAN, WIFI, WAN, SDN, routing, switching), and network security (Next-Gen Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, encryption protocols)
• Strong customer focus and goal-driven attitude
• Knowledge of Datacenter architectures, Security Architectures, Modern Software Architectures, and Cloud Architectures
• Excellent German and English language skills
• Ability to interface with senior levels of internal / external organizations
