Financial Accounting Representative 1

FortisBC is seeking a Financial Accounting Representative 1 to support its operations as a leading energy provider with over 100 years of experience. This temporary role offers a flexible arrangement (Full-Time Temporary) with a focus on processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and analysis of financial data for both bank and accounts receivable. The role involves both internal and external communication to ensure accurate and timely information flow.

Requirements

• Completion of a Certificate in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Three (3) years’ experience in accounting at an intermediate level.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of ERP accounting systems (preferably SAP).
• Intermediate level knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
