Painter

Painter classification is an all-encompassing paint department position that assists with material staging, prepping, and painting duties. The role requires operating various equipment, including computers, RF scan guns, and forklifts, and working in a fast-paced production environment. The Painter will assist the team to achieve KPI goals and quality requirements and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

• Ability to operate industrial painting equipment
• Support team to achieve KPI goals and quality requirements
• Ability to interface with other departments to accomplish tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S principles
• Communicate proactively and escalate any material shortage, quality, and process issues
• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Comply with and participate in maintaining standardized work instructions
• Report workplace hazards associated with equipment being used, workplace injuries and/or illness and workplace near miss incidents immediately to direct supervisor
