Requirements

• Interpretation and understanding of shop drawings to determine if a part is made to print
• Ability to use measuring instruments to verify whether a product is conforming to shop drawings
• Manual Dexterity and ability to lift to 30 lbs.
• Ability to distinguish color in this position and the ability to read small print and distinguish fine details
• Reading skills to understand instructions, plans, or purchase orders
• Good communication skills enabling verbal and written communication using active listening and learning
• Basic blueprint reading skills and welding symbols
• Ability to use basic computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
