Laundry Associate

We are hiring a part-time laundry associate to work every weekend from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Laundry Associate is responsible for carrying out the normal activities of the laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, sorting, etc. of clothing and linens.

Requirements

• Collects, cleans, and redistributes the Community laundry.
• Ensures that all Health Center laundry is properly sorted, washed, and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Possess the ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Commercial laundry experience is desirable, but not required.
• Ability to process 50-100 pounds of laundry at a time
• Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
• Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
