Job Description
The Associate Producer will assist newscasts with pre-production and post-production tasks, including story pitches, research, script writing, social video editing, and graphics production.
Requirements
- Writes stories for broadcast, web, and social
- Creates graphics and other preproduction elements
- Views video and chooses sound
- Acts as liaison to Reporters in the field
- Fills in for Producers as assigned
- Stays informed of current news and actively gathers information
- Reports to work during severe weather conditions and/or breaking news
- Meets all scheduling and content deadlines
- Attends and participates in all scheduled meetings
- Demonstrates responsibility for all equipment issued by FOX
- Complies with all FOX Corporate computer requirements
- Complies with all FOX Corporate and station policies
