Job Description
The Medical Assistant provides various medical and clerical duties associated with patient care, including maintaining confidentiality, administering medication, and assisting with procedures and treatments.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of training, education and work experience
- Pleasant personality, good telephone etiquette and public relations skills
- One or more years work experience in medical setting with knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, and Medicaid, Medicare, and other third party insurance carriers billing experience
