BA/MA: Thermal Deformation Model for Optimization of the Press Contact

The Fraunhofer Society is seeking a student to work on a thesis project to develop a thermal deformation model for optimization of the press contact. The project involves investigating the effects of material combination on shear stresses in the press contact and developing a model in Matlab.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering, CES, Physics or comparable subject
• Interest in production-related questions
• Independent and solution-oriented work
• Handicraft skills and team spirit
• Good language skills in German and English
