The Systems for Situational Awareness research group at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft FKIE is seeking a research group leadership for the Systems for Situational Awareness research group. The group focuses on innovative and intelligent leadership and information systems in the defense and civil security environment, with a goal to improve information quality and support the Bundeswehr and civil defense authorities. The position involves scientific and technical alignment, development, implementation, and project management.

Requirements

• Completed scientific university studies in Computer Science or a comparable field, a doctorate is an advantage
• Comprehensive knowledge in the development of distributed information systems based on modern cloud and web technologies
• Leadership and management skills in the acquisition and management of scientific projects
• Very good German and English language skills
• Knowledge of the needs of the Federal Armed Forces and aviation (desirable)
