Masterarbeit "Analyse der Energietransformation in den USA"

The Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg is seeking a Master's Thesis student to analyze energy transformation pathways in the USA. The research group explores climate-compatible transformation pathways using energy system models and seeks a student assistant to contribute to the REMod model, which considers German or European scenarios up to 2050 or beyond.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, Energy Engineering, or Business Administration
• Knowledge of energy economics and energy engineering, ideally in the area of grids
• Basic programming skills (R, Python, GIS)
• Proficiency in MS Office
