We are seeking a master's student to work on a thesis project at the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology IGB, focusing on AI-supported data collection for urban/industrial bioeconomy. The project involves developing and training an AI model to retrieve regional bioeconomy indicators and creating a dashboard for visualization.

Requirements

• Study Bioeconomy, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Informatics, or a related field
• Excellent study results and high degree of self-initiative
• Sound knowledge in sustainability, material cycles, renewable raw materials, and data preparation
• Vocational experience in Bioeconomy and AI models an advantage
• Good communication skills, creativity, flexibility, and team skills
