The Fraunhofer Society is looking for a student assistant to support current research and industrial projects in the field of high-performance machining. The successful candidate will design fixtures and component demonstrators, generate NC code, and analyze data.

Requirements

• Study Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering or a comparable subject
• Knowledge of production technical basics of milling, turning, and drilling technologies
• CAD/CAM system experience and CNC machining center knowledge (ideally)
• High level of initiative, care, and team spirit
• Very good language skills in German and English
