Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to join the Clurman lab within the HNSCC team. The position focuses on studying molecular pathogenesis and therapeutic strategies for head and neck squamous cell cancer using cell cycle control and protein degradation pathways. This collaborative position provides an opportunity to work with researchers across the hub and contribute to cutting-edge research and clinical care.

Requirements

• PhD, M.D., or M.D., Ph. D (or equivalent degree) in cell and molecular biology, cancer biology, biochemistry, or a related field
• Experience with mouse models and xenografting is preferred
• Experience in functional genomics and/or drug screening is also preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Record of productive and rigorous research, including at least one primary publication in an impactful peer-reviewed journal
